Tigerair takeoff

Tigerair

Tigerair is based in Singapore, serving routes to more than 50 cities in China, Japan, India and the region. It was the one of the first budget airlines to operate from the Terminal 2 at Changi Airport.

Low-cost Carrier by Singapore Airlines

Tigerair is owned by Tiger Airways Holdings which is a subsidiary of the SIA Group. Due to its lineage to Singapore Airlines, passengers do have high expectation of Tigerair despite being a regional low-cost carrier. However, as with all budget airlines, you will have to live with the occasional "lengthy delays" and "hidden" baggage charges.
