Facilities
Waiting lounge
In Singapore, first class/premium passengers are entitled to use the lounge prior to departure. Comfortable seats, toilets and shower facilities are available for use in the lounge. As for the waiting lounge in KL at Pasarakyat Bus Terminal (KL) you will be served light refreshments as well.

Worn-out leather seats
On the Transtar Premium coach which I travelled on, the leather seats are mostly old and worn out. It definitely didn't look as new as those shown in their website.
Video facilities
Maybe I was unlucky to travel on one of Transtar older coaches. The video entertainment system was not working and no headphones were provided. However, for my return trip, the video system was working on some but not all channels.
Wi-fi
Unlike what it was stated in Transtar website, there was no Wi-fi connection onboard.
Meal service
Meal services are available onboard the First Class and Solitaire classes only.
Coach Schedule
Coach timing
From my own experience travelling with Transtar, the coaches, both going to KL and return, was on time. Nonetheless, many reviewers had indicated that the coaches were usually late.
Bus captains/drivers
Some reviewers from Internet forums felt that the bus drivers of Transtar Express are generally impolite. In addition, some drivers may not be keen to respond to your queries, partly due to their poor command of english.
Departure/Arrival/Rest Points
Arrival point in Singapore
Transtar coaches would usually make a brief stop at Jurong East for passengers staying in the western of Singapore. However, Transtar coaches terminates at Golden Mile Complex. It is different from their departure point which is located in front of their main office.
Rest point
On my trip to KL, the Transtar coach made a brief stop for 20 minutes. There a good selection of food stalls in this food court and to my surprise, the food was quite tasty albeit pricey.
Departure point from Singapore
Transtar Express departs Singapore from the car park located in front its main office near Lavender MRT station. Transtar coaches also depart from Resort World Sentosa.
Pasarakyat Bus Terminal
Old and rundown. Basic facilities such as toilets are old and rundown. The bus terminal is certainly in need of a major refurbishment.
